Airgas National Cryogenics supplies customers with nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, which are extracted from the atmosphere in our state-of-the-art air separation plants in Columbia, SC and Hopewell, VA. We produce these gases by compressing, expanding, and cooling air from the atmosphere through a process of liquification and fractional distillation, in a computer-controlled operation to ensure constant, high quality production.

In addition to manufacturing and distributing liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, Airgas National Cryogenics distributes liquid carbon dioxide, liquid nitrous oxide, bulk helium, and bulk hydrogen.

To facilitate continuous product availability, we carefully monitor all deliveries. Cryogenic liquids are delivered via specially designed liquid trailers to our customers' sites in custom-designed cryogenic storage vessels, furnished and maintained by Airgas National Cryogenics. We also maintain 11 miles of pipeline supplying six large industrial users directly from the air separation plants.
